Because of the handmade nature of the printmaking process, the print you order might be slightly different from the one in the picture. Small imperfections like ink stains, unprinted areas or colour variations make each one different from the others and therefore unique.

Inspired by Ukiyo-e Japanese woodblock print
Kamigamo Jinja Yuki (Snow in Kamigamo Shrine, Kyoto) by Takeji Asano
上賀茂神社雪 - 浅野竹二
This is one of the most famous woodblock prints by Takeji Asano. It features an imposing temple gate, the beauty of the red gate enhanced with a cover and surroundings of white snow defying the winter cold to visit.
"Kamigamo Shrine" is the combined name of Kamo Betsulei Shrine and Kamo Mizu Shrine (also known as Shimogamo Shrine). Since ancient times, the Kamo clan has been enshrined, and it is known as the patron saint of the electronics industry and the god of victory.
The main hall and the hall of power are national treasures of Japan, and the buildings are also registered as world cultural heritage.
